Before this album comes out they have released as a single their version of the hymn 'Nothing But The Blood'. This is a wonderful song, sung and recorded beautifully by the very talented Lou & Nathan Fellingham. The song recording is simply two vocalists and a piano. Firstly can I add the rich recording of the song is something very special. The piano sounds epic and secondly when you add onto that the tone of Lou's and Nathan's vocals working together, then something extra special happens.
Many artists have recorded this song over the years, and with each 'cover' sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This version very much works, it keeps to the heart of the song, and it just lets the song be itself. When you have two talented and creative worshippers making music they know when to give the song space to breath and with this recording they really have created something special without over complicating the song.
