Singer/Songwriter Jenna Parr Releases 'God's Got This'
Christian music singer/songwriter Jenna Parr has released her new single 'God's Got This!', from her debut EP of the same name. The three song EP also features the songs 'Not Ashamed' and 'Faith'.
From a young age, Jenna has loved playing piano, singing, and sharing God's Word and love with those around her. Her passions have all been combined to create her minsitry. Her goal in life is to use her music as a ministry and share God's love to everyone she comes in contact with.
Her song, God's Got This, was inspired by Mrs. Charlotte Young, her pastor's wife, who fought a long, hard battle with cancer. Throughout Mrs. Charlotte's fight with cancer, she remained optimistic and coined the phrase, “God's Got This.”
Hearing her happily say this everyday and seeing her confidence in God spoke deeply to others and has continued to remind people of the gracious God we serve. Jenna's mission with this song is just carry on Mrs. Charlotte's encouragment that God's got it under control. In 2016, Mrs. Charlotte went on to her heavenly home, but Jenna did not want her popular saying to be forgotten. 2016 Jenna begin to record her debut EP entitled "God's Got This" to share with people the confidence we should have in Christ. No matter what battle you're facing, God has a plan and will get you through those hard times. Remember God's Got This!
