Josh Schneider Releases 2 Singles 'The Sacrifice' and 'Born to Rise'
Josh Schneider has released two singles as he seeks to make a name for himself in Christian music. 'The Sacrifice' and 'Born to Rise' are available to download now via iTunes and Amazon, and are also available to stream via Spotify.
"I , like many other teenage boys in the mid 90's started playing guitar because I heard Metallica and I wanted to learn how to play their songs", explains Josh. "I have moved away from that genre of music. I became a Christian in 2003. I got heavily involved in acoustic guitar music when I joined my church worship team. I started writing songs in 2010 only to quit shortly after. I sold all my stuff. Now I'm buying it all back again!
It's ok though, this time I'm not quitting. I believe doing this is God's will for my life so I'm moving forward. A man recently told me I would never be happy with my life unless I do what God called me to do. Those words caused me to reflect on my life. It's an incredible amount of work being a DIY musician, but it also incredibly rewarding and satisfying! God has given us the ability to create and feel His pleasure, just like He felt when He made man in His image and said 'It is very good'."
