Elisabeth Kitzing Preparing First Album 'Change My Mind'
Elisabeth Kitzing, an American songwriter, artist and music producer now based in Sweden, will release her first album, 'Change My Mind', next year. The 12 song album, which will be followed by a book to explain the way to Jesus simply and practically, is about saying no to a stressful life and finding a peaceful one.
"We are eight musicians and two soloists involved in this independent project. I have a story to tell to believers and a message to people who don't yet believe", explains Elisabeth. "The story to believers is this: its never too late to get into your calling. God is gracious and helps us back on track despite our handicaps, low-self esteem, shortcomings etc. He lifts us up and puts our feet on a rock.
"Although I was in a Christian rock band already in the late 70s I got distracted. Now I'm 54 yrs old and the songs God has written on my heart from various times and in many different genres has formed into a cohesive entity with a powerful and encouraging message. Change My Mind is also a tool for Christians to give to people who are interested in who Jesus is and have come to the point of spiritual hunger where they are ready to find out more."
