Berklee College of Music is the premier destination for the study of contemporary music and the performing arts. Berklee intentionally recognizes and celebrates the history and legacy of Gospel music creators. The Africana Studies Division at Berklee will present the Signature Series concert Gospel Extravaganza 2025 - Through the Years: A Celebration of Berklee’s Reverence Gospel Ensemble and Berklee Gospel Music Hall of Fame Ceremony on Thursday, May 1 at 8PM. One of this year's prestigious Gospel Hall of Fame inductees is Soul singer MAJOR.
MAJOR. is a Berklee alum who has assiduously worked to develop his career in music and entertainment with perseverance, integrity, and enthusiasm. He is a platinum-selling artist with GRAMMY, Dove, and NAACP Image Award nominations for his hit songs "Why I Love You," "Honest," and "I Prayed For You (said a prayer)."
