New Live Album 'Passion: Here For You' Recorded At Passion 2011 Conference In Atlanta

Jan 13 2011

The latest album from the Passion movement will be titled 'Passion: Here For You' and will be released in the US on 8th March 2011 and in the UK on 16th May 2011. Recorded live at the Passion 2011 conference in Atlanta, Georgia, at the start of January, the much-anticipated collection of new songs will feature sixstepsrecords artists Chris Tomlin, David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and Kristian Stanfill.

The album and new song offerings will reflect the desire of a generation to lay down their lives to live for the renown of Christ. Since the first release in 1998, Passion albums have sold more than 1.8 million albums and introduced the newest and up-and-coming worship songs, including 'Better Is One Day', 'How Great Is Our God', 'God Of This City', 'Holy Is The Lord' and last year, the number 1 radio single 'Our God' (from 2010's 'Passion: Awakening' album).

During the recent conference, 22,000 students, leaders, and volunteers attending the first of two major Passion 2011 conferences, raised more than $1.1 million for local and global causes - nearly three times the stated goal. The charitable funds are already reserved for specific purposes that include: Atlanta homeless shelters (88,000 pairs of socks, 18,400 towels), India (24 clean water wells), Haiti (39 homes), and Bolivia (restoring 22 girls trapped in sex slavery).
