Chris Shackleton Releases 'Jesus You' Inspired By Easter Hymn

Oct 31 2024

Independent artist and worship leader from Crewe Chris Shackleton has released his new single 'Jesus You', available on most streaming platforms.

"The song is inspired by the Easter hymn 'Thine be the glory' and especially the line 'Lo Jesus, meets us, risen from the tomb. Lovingly He greets us, scatters fear and gloom'", Chris explains. "Such a hope filled vision of the risen Jesus and new creation so I had to write about it, it's what I needed to hear!"

Last year Chris released 'Home is where the heart is', an 8 track album centred around the theme of home. Across the 8 tracks Chris invites us to consider where we are and where we are going, all the while responding to the God who made us and calls us into His presence wherever we are.
