Elias Dummer Announces New Album 'The Work Vol 2'

Jun 20 2022

Former The City Harmonic frontman and Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winner Elias Dummer's new album 'The Work Vol 2' will be released on all platforms on July 29th. "I've never worked for so long on a project IN MY LIFE and have poured my heart and soul into this", Elias admits. "It's a bittersweet record, but honestly, the world is kind of like that right now, isn't it?"

Pre-orders for CDs and limited edition autographed vinyl LPs are available now. Vinyl will be numbered and autographed and only 100 will be printed.

Elias is releasing one more single on June 24th, ahead of the album, called 'How Many Songs Does It Take To Save The World?'. "Ours is a season of scandal, with many hurt by churches and their leaders", explains Elias. "'How Many Songs Does It Take to Save the World?' is built around a relaxed electric guitar hook, as I wrestle with my own apathy and invite us each to wake up to God’s song of love instead."
