Royce Hood Releases Epic New Song 'From This Rock'

Sep 27 2021

Royce Hood releases his latest single 'From This Rock', a song dedicated to the power of the Holy Spirit, taken from his recent EP, 'Since that Day'. With classic and southern rock influence this track carries the listener on a rhythmic journey to enrich their soul.

'From this Rock' starts off with ominous thunder followed by the subtle blend of acoustic strums and melodic backing-vocals. The track ventures into an all out rock-inspired chorus followed by a rhythmic bridge between verses.

The song is about how the Holy Spirit has no boundaries. Jesus said, from this rock I will build my church. Sometimes we fail, sometimes we are afraid to take chances. But if we are doing God's will, the Holy Spirit will guide us and protect us. "and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us." Romans 5:5.

Royce Hood's last release, 'Fulton's Song' has nearly 25,000 streams on YouTube and counting. Royce is on a mission to produce and release music that enriches souls inspired by his Catholic-Christian faith.
