Rachel Kerr Releases 'Lover Lover' Single Ahead of Debut Album

Multi-award winning recording artist Rachel Kerr has released her new single 'Lover Lover'. The single is taken from her upcoming debut album. Rachel is a MOBO Award 2012 Winner and an UK Entertainment Award 2016 Winner.

The British singer/songwriter and entrepreneur released her debut EP 'Back To Music' in 2012 and went on to win her first MOBO Music Award making her the first female artist to ever win in her category. Kerr has toured the US, UK and Africa opening for the likes of Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Musiq Soulchild, K. Michelle, Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond.


In the same year as her MOBO Award win Kerr was personally invited to sing for Former US President Bill Clinton at an annual fundraising event for the Clinton Foundation. Here the singer met and was personally commended by the Former US President. As well as the Former President, celebrity attendees included Lily Cole, Princess Beatrice, Gwyneth Paltrow and Will.i.am amongst others.

In 2013 Rachel released her sophomore EP release 'Getting Started'. Her lead single from the release was again written by Rachel and was entitled 'I Will Love Me'. Shorlty after its release Kerr was picked up by BET Music Matters as a BET approved feature artist and commenced with a US Tour where she shared the stage with the likes of K. Michelle & Sevyn Streeter. It was during this tour that Rachel performed at legendary music venues in LA and New York headlining at The House of Blues and S.O.B's respectively.
