Jun 30 2009

International worship leader Roy Fields will be visiting the UK next week ahead of the release of his new album 'Rain Down' on 7th August.

Roy and his wife Melanie stepped out into full time ministry in the summer of 2005. After traveling for close to 4 years down the east coast of America from Maine to Florida, Roy found himself in Lakeland, Florida in the summer of 2008 ministering to a global audience of over 100 million viewers by way of the Internet and television as well as over one hundred thousand people attending those meetings.

His albums 'We Are The Generation' and 'Less of Me' have connected with tens of thousands of listeners, and he and his wife, Melanie, are already traveling the world as evangelists. New album 'Rain Down' serves as not only a great introduction to the man's songs, but it points the way to a bright future. Including a DVD, 'Rain Down' brings into focus the heart of worship.

"I always had a desire to lead people in worship," Roy says, "I love it when people get caught up in worship. There are times when we are worshiping that I sense his approval and that's what it's about, doing what is pleasing to the Lord. It's during these intimate times with the Lord that people's lives are being transformed."

Roy Fields will be appearing in the UK on the following dates:

2-4 July - Leicester, All Nations Centre
5 July - Bournemouth, House of Destiny
