LZ7 Release New Single 'Give Out The Love' In Partnership With Compassion

Sep 02 2013

British band LZ7 have released their brand new single 'Give Out The Love' this week. The single is released in partnership with the charity Compassion, and the accompanying music video for the song was recently filmed in Haiti where LZ7 sponsor children through Compassion.

The single aims to raise awareness and sponsorship for the poorest children all across the globe. "If you could physically save someone from the nastiness of Human Trafficking would you?", asks the band. "In Haiti, where we filmed the #giveoutthelove music video they have 'Restaveks', trafficked children from the country to the city to be slaves... Amazing stories of saved lives come out of Compassion."

'Give Out The Love' is taken from forthcoming new album 'Aftershow', which will be released on 7th October. The band have already released the album's title track as a single, reaching Number 1 on the iTunes chart in The Netherlands, and Number 5 in the UK electronic chart.

The forthcoming album will also include new song 'Next Level' which sees LZ7 collaborate with American Christian rock band Family Force 5.

Last year LZ7 reached number 12 in the mainstream UK Singles chart with their anti-trafficking single '27 Million' which featured worship leader Matt Redman.

In 2010 they reached number 26 in the charts with 'This Little Light'.

This summer the band released a five track taster EP called 'Aftershow Festival Edition', which was available from download stores, as well as exclusively on limited edition CD at LZ7 tour dates over the summer.

The EP included the singles 'Aftershow' and '27 Million', plus new tracks 'Next Level', 'Irreversible' and 'Strobot'.
