Matt Redman & LZ7 Announce Week Long European Tour Together

Mar 30 2012

British worship leader Matt Redman has announced that he will be joined by Hip Hop band LZ7 for a week long tour of Europe at the start of May 2012. The two artists recently joined forces to release the 'Twenty Seven Million' single, which reached number 12 in the mainstream UK Singles chart in March in support of the A21 Campaign which aims to combat human trafficking and slavery.

The tour kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden on 1st May and visits Norway, Denmark, Germany and The Netherlands before ending in Bremen, Germany on 6th May. Further details are available on mattredman.com.

'Twenty Seven Million' was released as a single worldwide, peaking as high as number 4 on the UK iTunes Singles Chart and number 1 on the Amazon MP3 Bestsellers Chart. It also entered the top 50 on iTunes in several countries around the world. USA, Australia, Sweden and Norway all saw the single rise highly, and it even spent a day in the number 1 position on the iTunes Bulgaria chart.

Discussing his collaboration with LZ7 in an interview with LTTM, Matt Redman said "It's a fantastic fusion of genres, and it works because there's one heart running through this project - it's a heart to speak up for those who don't have a voice. We also have all known each other for years, and there's tons of mutual respect for each other, and what we all do in life. That counts for a lot in a vulnerable situation like a songwriting session!"

May 01 - Stockholm, Sweden
May 02 - Kristiansand, Norway
May 03 - Aarhus, Denmark
May 04 - Dettingen an der Erms, Stuttgart, Germany
