Firefalldown To Release First Full Album 'These Wounds' In May

Jan 06 2012

Filipino-British three-piece pop punk band Firefalldown will release their debut album 'These Wounds' in May 2012 following several EP releases over the past few years. The band performed at the UK's Greenbelt Festival in 2011 and have been bringing their own brand of melodic funkcore to the UK underground scene, combining elements of skate punk, motown, and pop punk through their energetic live shows.

"After a good four years hard work we're finally a stone's throw away from this momentous occasion", said the band about their forthcoming album release.

"And though in many ways this is just the beginning, it's also much more of an accomplishment than many would think. For now, all has been done on the single and album release front - video has been shot, deliverables are with the PR company and the the majority of the design work for the ads and the CD have been done. The only thing left is finalizing dates for the tour which should be wrapped up after the Christmas break."

A teaser of the album title track, 'These Wounds', mixed by Alex Greig of MaLoKaI, which will be released in March accompanied by a video, is now available on the band's Facebook page.
