The lineup for the UK's Big Church Day Out festival next year has now been confirmed, with US mega-bands Newsboys and Casting Crowns among the biggest names booked for 2012. Tickets go on sale today, 18th November 2011, for the two-day event which takes place at Wiston House in West Sussex on 2nd and 3rd June 2012.

Also playing in 2012 will be Tim Hughes and Worship Central, Matt Redman, LZ7 and Rend Collective Experiment. Also from the US will be Gungor, Phil Wickham, Israel Houghton joined by a Gospel Choir, Leeland and NewWorldSon. Other artists from the UK include Lou Fellingham & Phatfish, Cathy Burton, Guvna B, Dave Bilborough, Tom + Olly, The Steels, Philippa Hanna, Iona, Jahaziel and Chaos Curb (made up of former Dweeb and Bosh band members).

Making one of his first solo appearances in the UK will be the former Delirious? lead singer Martin Smith. There will also be performances from the Kings Chamber Orchestra, New Wine Choir and Watoto Children's Choir. The 2012 event takes place over the Queen's Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, with a 50% discount offered on camping with a weekend ticket.

"With the event lasting over 2 days again at Wiston House in West Sussex, we have invited some incredible artists, giving BCDO an outstanding lineup never seen before at any UK event", promise the organisers. "For 2012 our weekend Main Stage programme will increase from 6 to 12 acts, with many different on each day. As before, both the Tea Tent and the UCB Stage will also have different artists each day, making the BigChurchDayOut Weekend Ticket a must for everyone."

Newsboys, who have just released their brand new worship album 'God's Not Dead', were one of the standout performances at Big Church Day Out 2011 when over 15,000 people turned out. The band's return in 2012 is sure to draw large crowds again.
