Louder Than The Music

The 2011 Grammy winning band Switchfoot will bring their 'Vice Verses Tour' to the UK and mainland Europe in November 2011. The thirteen shows will bring to the stage one of the world's finest live acts. During the tour Switchfoot will be playing tracks from their new album 'Vice Verses', due for release in September 2011.

Tickets will go on-sale on 24th June 2011 at 9am GMT, with the tour kicking off at the Manchester Academy2 on 7th November 2011, before moving on to the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London (8th), Birmingham O2 Academy2 (9th), Edinburgh The Liquid Room (10th) and Cambridge The Junction (11th), before heading into mainland Europe from 12th to 20th November.

"You know what makes a Switchfoot gig work? Yes, it's the songs, the sounds, the way the band play and the sights that make your heart skip up the tempo", says the tour's promoters. "But forget the science, what about the art? It's found in a thousand different moments. Wide-eyed conversations in the gathering crowd before the lights go down and the night explodes; take-home snapshot memories of lyrics and visuals; the way it feels when sound and crowd collide with the realisation that all of this is about something bigger than any one person in the room.
