Live To Worship 6

Jun 23 2010

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? It was only about 365 days (give or take a few weeks) ago that Live To Worship 5 was dropped onto our desks, the fifth part of this amazing series. So we are up to the next installment, Live To Worship 6, the latest of these double albums compilations. For all who don't know Live to Worship is an annual album that takes the best worship songs that have made an impact in the local church over the year and then features some up and coming new songs.

So what do I think of this new double album? I have had the honor to review and listen to a large amount of Christian compilation over the last twelve months, and the majority have been of a high standard and Live to Worship 6 is no exception. Packed full of contemporary worship from well known songwriters like Rend collective Experiment, Brenton Brown, Tim Hughes and Graham Kendrick, the album also has some amazing tracks from some maybe lesser known artists like Eoghan Heaslip, Marc James and Nick J Drake. This could be a great way to hear tracks from these amazing artist before purchasing their full albums.

Live To Worship 6 is packed full of amazing worship songs, some you might already know having already purchased their respective albums or some songs on here you might never have heard about before. Highlights include Ben Cantelon's 'Jericho', Phil Wickham's 'You're Beautiful' and Rend Collective Experiment with 'You Bled'. All in all a very good collection of songs, which I think most people who enjoy modern worship will enjoy.
