Gotee Records' award-winning artist and songwriter Ryan Stevenson releases a new version of his song, "When We Fall Apart" with GRAMMY-winning artists Vince Gill and Amy Grant. The original song was featured on Stevenson's 2020 release, Wildest Dreams.

This is one of those songs that touches the heart from the moment you press play. Lyrically this is a very emotional song, but the music is actually uplifting and within all the pain of the song there is a sense of hope. I'm glad Ryan has re-released this new version with the added vocals of Vince and Amy as I had not heard this before. Fans of Ryan will be saying, of course we have heard this, but I'm sure hearing this song done slightly differently will be a great extra track to add to their collection.
All I can add about this song is how Ryan has managed to so perfectly add hope in hard times. Sometimes an artist can go too far with hope in difficult times, by leaving the listener thinking they are being told to 'Keep calm and carry on', but here Ryan balances everything so well that you feel you're allowed to feel sad by loss, you're allowed to not have to put on a front. What I love here is that Ryan has the line "It's ok to cry, It's ok to fall apart, You don't have to try, To be strong when you are not", it's so powerful.
