The song was written in 2007 and is based on Psalm 57v7-11:

For many years this song has been sung at outreaches and Sunday Services in different parts of the UK and New Zealand, particularly in Andrew's former home church in Crawley, West Sussex where his wife would often sing and play acoustic guitar and his son would play bass. In this recording, Andrew's wife sings background vocals.
