Rob Westall Releases Christmas Single 'Saviour Of The World'

Nov 29 2019

Rob Westall's Christmas single 'Saviour of the World' was digitally released on Friday 29th November.

Rob, a former BBC journalist, is focused these days on broadcasting the Good News of the Gospel through his music. Following the release of his debut worship album ‘Born to Worship,’ in April, which received airplay on BBC radio and Premier Christian drive-time, Rob received sponsorship to work on his music ministry full-time.

Co-written with his guitarist Steve Quantick, ‘Saviour of the World,’ is a contemporary Christmas carol conveying the hope that Jesus brings not only during the festive period but once and for all.

£1 of every download via Rob’s website will go towards the Gateway homeless community housing project. The charity set up by Gateway Church in Abergavenny, South Wales, is aiming to raise over £500,000 to build a centre to provide a safe place for people to stay, with training and support to enable them to take the next step in their journey to a better life. Christmas cards are also available to raise funds from Rob’s site.

The song is also being performed by Llantilio Pertholey Church in Wales School choir (based in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire) at all their Christmas concerts in South Wales, spreading the message of hope that Jesus brings to a wider audience.

Saviour of the World’ is out digitally on Friday 29th November with publishing support from Song Solutions Ltd, which is part of Essential Christian.
