Evans’ music has always possessed an unflinching authenticity. In the wake of the recent, sudden passings of his aunt, uncle, and cousin, and the unexpected news about his mother’s health, Evans is leaning on his faith and family more than ever as he taps into the spiritual yearnings to find an inner spiritual and personal peace during this season of his life. While he recorded the new 11-track album that features the NBC The Voice alumnus re-imagining top worship songs and recording heartfelt originals prior to much of the family news, he readily admits the healing power of the lyrics on the new project are especially significant in light of recent events, particularly the debut single, “Fighting For Us.”

The album is much more than another modern dance sounding album. There is something much deeper happening here, you can hear it from the start. The two opening tracks ‘Hope Is Alive’ and ‘Raise A Hallelujah’ are big gospel dance worship songs that are fantastic to say the least.

The album then takes a big flip into a selection of more ballad like songs. This shows Anthony is so diverse in his vocals. The songs 'So Will I' and 'Fighting For Us' sound so tender, they are both truly beautiful heartfelt songs.

This is a really warm and brilliant album with so much going on. It's an album that explores different styles of music genres and Anthony vocally sits well in all of them. That's what a strong and powerful artist will do, if you know how to sing... you know how to sing!

The album has some original tracks but also has what I call Worship Songs mash ups. Anthony has put a few well known worship songs together and made them flow as one song. But this isn't a covers album. I love Anthony's version of 'Lion And The Lamb', and 'Great Are You Lord' sounds so smooth and rich in tone. Plus there's the powerful Gospel sounds of Not Leaving / The Creed.

I am more than impressed with this album. It has layers of things going on and heartfelt, soul searching worship music from the heart.
