Dustin Chapman Releasing 'Lead The Way'

May 01 2019

Independent artist Dustin Chapman, from Whiteville, North Carolina, will release a single on April 30th called 'Lead the Way'.

"This song is one I wrote to help me cope with a rare disease of the esophagus called Achalasia. This is a disease of the esophagus that makes eating and drinking nearly impossible and I've undergone over six surgeries to try to fix the issues that have plagued me from this disease but to no avail. A video of me performing the song while hospitalized at Duke University's Cancer Center went viral over the summer and I am hoping to continue to build more momentum for the upcoming release.

The song speaks of holding on to God's promise that He has a greater plan laid out for us than anything we can imagine and it is vitally important for us to trust that He is truly good even when our earthly situations are not."
