Salt Of The Sound Release New Single 'Deep Peace' From Forthcoming Album 'Beyond Here'
Swedish duo Salt of the Sound have just released 'Deep Peace', the first single from their forthcoming third full-length album 'Beyond Here', which will be released on Friday 2nd November.
Salt Of The Sound is the award-winning musical collaboration of husband and wife duo Anita and Ben Tatlow. Their aim is to create songs that encourage spiritual reflection both in church environments and in times of personal quiet, while also exploring musical styles and expressions that bring a freshness to the Christian music scene.
"Deep Peace is a song about finding God in the unexpected places", the duo explain. "We often search for God in the sacred and assume He dwells among the steeples, hymns and rituals, but more often than not He shows up in the everyday ordinary."
"Following on from 'Echoes Of Wonder' and 'Journeys', it's our third full-length album and our most personal release to date, exploring themes of pain, grief and loss. Yet the abiding message is one of hope and trust in God's calling on our lives", continues Ben.
