Philippa Hanna Releasing Worship Single 'Now To Jesus' Featuring Abby Eaton
Having built an international following for her faith-filled inspirational music, Philippa Hanna joins forces with Abby Eaton to release her debut worship single 'Now To Jesus'. The South-Yorkshire-based singer penned the song with Dawn Hocking, Abby and her husband Chris Eaton, writer of hit records for acts including Amy Grant and Cliff Richard.
The song will be featured on Songs of Praise on Sunday 30th September on BBC1 which marks the second time within a month that Philippa is featured on the prime-time TV show. Following on from the success of worship videos achieving 50m views online, there is a growing appetite for worship songs from Philippa.
Her daily devotional book Amazing You is due for international release this December. "I've been involved in writing and leading worship songs since the beginning of my faith journey in 2004... I've been overwhelmed and greatly encouraged by the response to sharing new worship songs online" said Philippa Hanna.
Abby Eaton is a singer and songwriter based in the West Midland who has been featured as Jazz FM’s Record of the Week. She is an active support of The Mariposa Trust and is a worship leader at Lifecentral Church.
