UK Worship Leader Olly Knight Returns With 'Risen King'

Jun 06 2018

Olly Knight, a Worship Leader at The City Church in Canterbury, UK, and at events/conferences around the UK, has released his new single 'Risen King'. The single marks Olly's first new music since the release of his first worship album 'The Stream', which was released in Feb 2015 and received a 5/5 review from Louder Than The Music.

"Jesus was raised from death to life and if we believe in Him the same happens to us and our future is secure in Him! This means that the Church should have the best party and celebration! That's why this song was written- to encourage the Church to take joy in Jesus' resurrection", explains Olly.

"I've been overwhelmed by the support and response to 'The Stream' since it's release [in 2015]. It went straight to the top of the Christian/Gospel iTunes and Amazon charts and I've received so many positive messages and emails about the music and lyrics.

I love writing songs about The Trinity, our adoption and the good news of the Gospel! I like sticking to a 'theme' in a song rather than meandering through loads of different themes. My new single 'Risen King' is celebrating Jesus' resurrection!"
