Alternative Band Circa 71 Release First Single 'So Alive'

May 07 2018

Christian alternative band, Circa 71, from Little Rock, AR, have just released their first single 'So Alive'. The band says the song is "a declaration of the life we have been given through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ."

"Ephesians 2:4-5 states, 'But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved'. God’s love is incomprehensible. We are undeserving. Yet in our darkest hour, in our deepest failure, if we cry out to Him, He is faithful to pick us up and breathe new life into us."

Driving dance beats coupled with sing-a-long pop melodies, wrapped in high-energy rock-n-roll are the basic building blocks that make up Circa 71. Influenced by 80’s Euro-pop and modern Praise and Worship, Circa 71 have carved out a sound and style that is unique to their brand of Christian music.

Having toured extensively in North America and Europe in previous bands, the members of Circa 71 met through their church where they quickly discovered they had similar influences and the desire to create a sound that not only reflected those influences but also spread the hope of Jesus Christ. They soon began writing and recording songs for an EP that will be released in late spring of 2018.
