Corey Lueck Releases 'Nothing But The Blood' From 'Life Of Praise' EP

Mar 18 2018

Canadian Corey Lueck, who released his first solo album, 'Life of Praise' in 2017, has released a second single from the album, titled 'Nothing but the Blood'. The first single, 'This is the Day' (see lyric video below), was well received by radio across Canada, and the album features some of Canada's top musical talents, and was produced by WCMA Producer of the Year Nominee, Brad Prosko.

Corey Lueck was born into a musical family, and took up the drums and singing at age 5. He started his first high school rock band in Grade 11. Soon after graduating high school, Corey, with his brother, Todd, started a new country band called the “Red Hot Burritos”, and would go on to record two albums and enjoy some notoriety and frequent radio play.

After several years, the Burritos disbanded and Corey began playing drums part-time in a rock band, however, after a dramatic conversion to Christianity, he found himself unable to continue to play this type of music. He found a new love of music in the church.

Corey loves leading worship at Harvest City Church in Regina, Saskatchewan, where you will find him enthusiastically drumming and singing. He travels with Lift42, a ministry based out of Harvest City Church which holds evangelistic crusades on University campuses in Africa. He has been married to Shannon for 27 years and has three children, aged 24, 21 and 17.
