Caroline Cobb Releases 'A Home & A Hunger: Songs Of Kingdom Hope'

Sep 14 2017

Texas based singer-songwriter Caroline Cobb has released her new album 'A Home & A Hunger: Songs of Kingdom Hope', produced by Gabe Scott (Andrew Peterson, David Crowder), and featuring Shane Barnard & Jill Phillips. It rose to No. 3 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart and has been recommended by Christian leaders like Elyse Fitzpatrick, Bob Kauflin, Justin Taylor, Lauren Chandler, Gloria Furman and others.

'A Home & A Hunger' is a journey through scripture, beginning with the Fall and the first "hunger pangs," and ending in Revelation when God will make His home with us forever. Each song parachutes into a different biblical scene, and the album explores themes like homesickness and kingdom hope, restlessness and rest, and God's "upside-down" kingdom.

Caroline's last album, 'The Blood + The Breath: Songs that Tell the Story of Redemption', rose to No. 6 on iTunes Christian/Gospel charts and made iTunes' 'New and Notable' list the very next week. Caroline Cobb is a singer-songwriter particularly interested in telling the stories of scripture through her music and has been compared to John Mark McMillan, Sandra McCracken, and Rich Mullins. She and her husband Nick live in Dallas, Texas, with their three young kids (Ellie, Harrison and Libby).
