Holy Hip Hop Rapper Mr Del Releases 'Thrilla'

Jun 15 2009

Memphis based Christian rapper Mr Del will release his new album THRILLA on 30th June. Mr Del's music has been described as 'Holy Hip Hop' with an untraditional approach to Gospel meeting society's need for a Hip Hop artist bold enough to proclaim the pure, uncut, unadulterated word of God in his music.

THRILLA is an acronym for THE REAL ANOINTING. Formerly a member of the Oscar winning, platinum selling secular rap group Three-Six-Mafia, Mr Del has rededicated his life to Christ and changed his message to one that promotes righteousness rather than sin. On this album, Mr Del allows people to see more of his personal life. "THRILLA shows more of a deeper, transparent side of me," he states. THRILLA allows the listener to submerge into the heart of an artist who has overcome weakness and is now refined and stronger through Christ.

THRILLA, distributed by Universal Music Christian Group, is Mr Del's deepest, most musically diverse project to date. The project exudes bold lyrics, hot tracks and a style that is undeniably Mr Del! His single 'Spread the Gospel' features rap mate Mali Music. The duo sync up to create a hot street mix with a taste of reggae spice while continuing to assert a powerful positive message.

With the purpose of taking his message "to the streets," God's anointed Hip Hop Apostle, Mr Del, is committed to sharing the Gospel in a way unknown to most secular and non-secular audiences.
