Jim Elliott Releases 'Have Your Way' Single With The Push Community

Dec 21 2012

Singer/songwriter Jim Elliott has released his debut single 'Have Your Way' with the Push Community, a collective of songwriters and worshippers who help to train and develop worship leaders to serve their local church.

"This is a song that comes from the heart with honesty and passion" says the Push Community. "From intimate piano and vocals through to emotive strings and pumping drums."

Jim was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and moved to Chichester in 2003 where he leads worship at Grace Church, and featured on their recent live album 'Redeemer'.

Jim wrote the opening track 'Great Is Our God', which is also featured on Cathy Burton's album 'Source of Every Hour'. He also regularly collaborates with fellow worship leader Rex Allchurch.

"I love seeing people express a heartfelt expression of praise to God, or be drawn into God's presence whether they know him or not", says Jim. "I love the mysterious role that music has always played in helping people do that, and it's a privilege to be involved whether playing the music, writing a song or simply worshipping!"

The new single comes ahead of the Push Community's debut album, due for release early next year, which will include the singles released so far as well as new tracks.
