Ooberfuse Launch 'Seventh Wave' Album At Free London Gig With Galactus Jack & Baliva

Sep 24 2012

British electropop band Ooberfuse will perform a free concert this Friday, 28th September 2012, at a prestigious London nightclub to launch their second album 'Seventh Wave'.

Joining the band at the show at AAA@Archangel in Kensington will be DJ Galactus Jack, who released his new EP 'Neon' recently, plus hip-hop sensation Baliva.

Ooberfuse front-woman Cherrie Anderson said, "This concert is about building a civilisation of love - this is what our album Seventh Wave is about. Everyone is welcome to attend!"

Nico, the band's guitarist adds, "We are honoured to be joined by top Christian artists on the night. Throwing this party is a way of thanking everyone who have supported us and we are busily rehearsing to ensure that it will be a night to remember!"

Discussing the new album, band member Hal explains, "Seventh Wave shows a different side of the band to the first album Still Love My Enemies. These new songs reflect not just our experiences of everyday life but our concern with pressing social issues.

Blood Cries Out for example was written for a Trafalgar peace rally earlier this year on the 1st anniversary of the assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti, Pakistan's Minister for Minorities, brutally gunned down by Taliban extremists."
