Abundant Life Church's RPM Rebrands As 'I Am Future' With New Live Album

Aug 16 2012

Youth ministry band I Am Future, formerly known as RPM from the UK's Abundant Life Church, have released their new self-titled live album, recorded at last year's Rocknations event.

"I Am Future captures the sense of journey and abandonment that has defined the church's work with young people over recent years", says Kingsway.

"There are the anthems with tempos set up at the ceiling (like the opener 'Freedom Never Felt So Good', 'Sound Of Praise' and 'All Things New') and the devotionals that bring the worshipper to their knees (like 'I Receive Your Love' and 'First Love'). Threaded throughout the album’s ten tracks is a keen focus on Jesus Himself; his sacrifice, his hope, his transformation."

Accompanying the album’s release is a four-part devotional written by I Am Future leader, Jock James. Writing in the introduction he explains that "I Am Future is about discovering a greater understanding of who God is, helping you discover more about who God has created you to be, deepening your connection with God - the God who made and loves you. I Am Future is not simply about music, or singing songs on Sunday. But it's the soundtrack of a movement of worshipers, fueled by the awe of God."
