New Soul Duo Daughters of Davis Release 'To The Water'

May 08 2012

British Soul-folk duo Daughters of Davis release their debut album 'To The Water' this week, after becoming the fourth act to be signed to Storm 5 Management, the home of Philippa Hanna and Roo Walker.

The group consists of sisters Adrienne and Fern Davis who left their home in Winchester for life on the road in the summer of 2011. Their drive to pursue music has led to them now quitting their jobs, selling their cars and investing everything they have to take to the road in a tour van for the next year ahead.

"This recording captures the raw energy of these sisters, offering delicate embellishments and giving the listener subtleties to enjoy when the tracks get lodged on repeat", says Storm 5 Management. "This honest and expressive collection of songs delves into deep issues lyrically with the top-lines and hooks drawing you in unassumingly.

Adrienne and Fern are enchanting performers; they hold a true affinity and connection that is inspiring and enjoyable to watch. 'Daughters of Davis' are a stunning find; a magical entity of musical talent."
