Sanctus Real Begin Recording Sixth Studio Album

Rock band Sanctus Real have announced that they have begun recording their sixth studio album. The album is expected to be released around October 2012 and will be the follow up to their 2010 Dove Award nominated album 'Pieces Of A Real Heart'.

"We officially started recording our new record this week", confirmed the band. "We can't wait for you all to hear these songs. We are shooting for an October release, so be on the look out this fall for some new music."

"We also have plans to [do] podcasts from the studio while we work on the record", the group revealed this week. "So, be sure to keep an eye on the website and Facebook for more info on that in the coming weeks."

'Pieces Of A Real Heart' featured the song 'Forgiven' (see video, right) which proved a massive success, with fans being encouraged to send in their own personal stories of forgiveness, hope and redemption.

Having recently completed the WinterJam Tour, Sanctus Real will be back on tour across the US throughout the rest of the Spring and Summer.
