Louder Than The Music

Singer/songwriter and three times 2011 Dove Award winner Chris August will released a newly expanded version of his 2010 acclaimed album 'No Far Away'. The new Deluxe Edition will be released on 20th December 2011 and will feature all the original tracks plus brand new song 'Lost For Words' and newly recorded versions of the three songs 'Starry Night', 'Loving You Is Easy' and 'Battle'.

'No Far Away' catapulted Chris onto the scene as a new artist with his debut single 'Starry Night' spending six weeks at number 1 and winning the Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, with Chris also picking up Male Vocalist and New Artist of the Year.

"Growing up my life was all about basketball and music... After my NBA dreams quickly fell by the wayside, my journey in music began," laughs Chris August. "This album shares bits and pieces of who I am and my life story. I'm incredibly excited to share it with the world and hope it resonates with listeners." Chris has recently been playing alongside David Crowder Band on their farewell tour.
