New Album 'Kingdom' Expected From Bluetree In February

Nov 10 2011

Worship band Bluetree, from Northern Ireland, are expected to release their new album 'Kingdom' in February 2012. The band spent time earlier this year recording the album at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, England, the same studio that Coldplay famously recorded their first three albums.

A new single titled 'Jesus Healer' is expected to precede the new studio album, which will also include songs such as 'You Were, You Are', 'It Is Finished', 'Exalt Him', 'You Are My Rock', 'Shine', 'Under My Feet' and 'Rest'.

Bluetree shot to fame when their song 'God Of This City' was covered by artists such as Chris Tomlin and American Idol winner Kris Allen. Last year they released a live CD titled 'Live At Exchange Church', recorded at their home church, Exchange Church in Belfast.

Bluetree kicked off a short US tour last night, 9th November, in Oklahoma City. They will perform five further concerts in Oklahoma next week.

Bluetree US Tour Dates Nov 2011:
16 Nov - Eagle Heights, OK
17 Nov - Cushing First Baptist, OK
18 Nov - Ponca First Baptist, OK
19 Nov - Woodward First Baptist, OK
20 Nov - Hollis First Baptist, OK
