Tour Dates For Rend Collective Ahead Of New Album 'Homemade Worship By Handmade People'

Oct 27 2011

Rend Collective Experiment have announced three special tour dates to launch their new album 'Homemade Worship By Handmade People'. Released on 9th January 2012, the album will be preceded by concerts in Edinburgh (5th January), Belfast (6th) and London (7th).

'Homemade Worship By Handmade People' will be the second full length album from the Northern Ireland worship band, following their full length debut 'Organic Family Hymnal' (2010). The new album will include the song 'You Are My Vision', which has proved popular during the band's live shows this year. "We took an old Irish hymn based on the writings of St. Patrick that was written at least a millenia ago and retranslated it from the Irish and the old English to give what we feel is the best modern version", explained the band.

The innovative band have been going from strength to strength since their debut, even supporting Chris Tomlin on his 30-city major market 'And If Our God Is For Us...' US Tour earlier this year. "We have been working as a collective really hard over this last year to write songs that the church can use in worship without using cliches or tired ideas", said the band. "We are a new generation and we want to pursue God with our heads, wills and our hearts!"

Rend Collective Experiment Album Release Tour 2012:
