Six Pence None The Richer's Leigh Nash Records 'Hymns And Sacred Songs'

Leigh Nash, the lead singer of best selling group Six Pence None The Richer, will release her newly recorded solo album 'Hymns And Sacred Songs' on 15th November 2011. The album features new versions of some of Leigh's favourite old hymns including 'Blessed Redeemer', 'Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing' and 'Praise The Lord Who Reigns Above'.

"These songs have lyrics that are timeless and are so well known, and now they have skillfully and tastefully been given new life with gorgeous new melodies", says EMI CMG. "Listening to Leigh's unique vocal stylings over these Hymns Amd Sacred Songs gives the listener a new appreciation of why we must not leave these treasures in the past, but look for ways to bring them with us to new generations."

Leigh's band, Six Pence None The Richer, achieved unprecedented mainstream chart success with their hit singles like 'Kiss Me' and 'There She Goes'. Leigh has recorded three previous solo albums, starting with her debut solo album, 'Blue on Blue', which was released in 2006.
