Jul 12 2011

Northern Ireland Christian Arts Festival FUEL returns for its fourth year this summer with mainstage artists including local band Rend Collective Experiment, UK based Dweeb and international bands including Gungor, Seabird and Starfield.

Also performing at Fuel Festival 2011, which is held in the town of Ballymena from 19th to 21st August, will be Mike Farris, Brian Houston, Paper Route and Charlie Hall. The festival also boasts many seminars and speakers including Shane Claiborne.

"We are followers of Jesus creating a festival of faith, justice, music and the arts. We aim to create a safe space and a creative environment in which people can express their faith, discover faith and have ask questions / have discussions outside the traditional 'church' environment", say the festival organisers. "We have some incredible international and local artists on both our mainstage and acoustic and fringe stages. We partner with several social justice organisations and aim to raise awareness and support for those organisations."

The festival takes place annually at Ballymena North Recreation Centre in Country Antrim, Northern Ireland. For further information visit the Fuel Music Festival Facebook page.
