Light The Way Releases 'Waterwalker' To Radio, Pop Punk To Energize Listeners' Faith

Jul 21 2025

California-based pop punk band Light The Way has launched 'Waterwalker' to radio, offering a profoundly encouraging call to stronger faith during difficult times. The song is going for radio adds now.

The band has also released a music video for the track, which captures Light The Way’s dynamic skate rock sound. You can view the video on YouTube.

“Waterwalker is about keeping our eyes focused on Jesus, because we are so prone to let life's circumstances completely derail us,” explains Andrew Carlin, vocalist and guitarist for Light The Way. “We are promised that we will all experience trials in our lives, but that the testing of our faith produces patience, and we do not need to fear because Jesus has already overcome the world and that we can trust in Him to see us through.”

With its sunny sonicscape and empowering lyrics, “Waterwalker” is sure to instill fearlessness in its listeners. Written by band members Andrew Carlin, Christian Moore, Evan Sides and Christian Appel, the single showcases the sound that saturates their 2024 album Expel. In partnership with Small Step Records, Light The Way’s oftentimes tongue-in-cheek lyrics speak truth and positivity in a world filled with divisiveness and chaos.

Light The Way will be performing this summer at Audiofeed Fstival.
