Anya Lee's Journey Culminates With 'Flatline' EP and New Track

Jul 16 2025

Anya Lee's music journey was born in the aftermath of a miracle–and now, it's reaching a bold new milestone. Her debut EP Flatline releases Friday, July 11, 2025, delivering six soul-stirring tracks that blend pop, R&B, and gospel influences into an unforgettable message of hope, survival, and divine purpose.

The new track, "Flatline," emerges from Anya's harrowing near-death experience in 2019, when she was clinically dead after being found frozen on the Appalachian Trail. Revived in an ER, she awakened not only physically, but spiritually–committed to using her music as a declaration of God's nearness and resurrection power. The song is a moody-yet-hopeful anthem that pulses with real-life testimony: "It ain't over / When it's over / On the other side of the flatline."

The EP features five previously released tracks - "Back Again," "Simple," "L.O.Y.L. (Livin' On Your Love)," "You're the One," and "God Made It"–each a chapter in Anya's unfolding story of transformation. With production by Gregatron, mixing by Michael Cervantes at The Foxboro, and engineering by Josh Green (Greenhouse Mixing), Flatline is a cohesive, compelling introduction to a voice uniquely qualified to sing of second chances.

Anya Lee's artistry is as profound as her story. Her vocals - equal parts tender and powerful - ride intricate rhythms and fresh beats that offer both chill vibes and celebratory energy. But at the heart of it all is a woman who knows what it means to be brought back from the brink and live with purpose. Flatline isn't just an EP–it's proof that new life is real, and it sings with every note.

"This EP is so special to me," shares Anya. "Every song comes from a real place-pieces of my story, my walk with God, and the ups and downs that have shaped me. Putting them all together felt like stitching parts of my heart into something whole. I hope that people hear not just the music, but the journey - that they feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that God shows up, even in the messiest moments."
