Tim Lovelace Salutes Faith And Freedom With 'Celebration Of America Medley'

Jul 01 2025

Stirring the patriotic spirit of a nation, GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and bestselling humorist Tim Lovelace bows the 'Celebration of America Medley.' Now available from StowTown Records, the sweeping instrumental - arranged by Lovelace - puts his piano prowess on full display and features Grand Ole Opry member and American music icon Charlie McCoy on harmonica.

Co-produced by Lovelace and Wayne Haun (Celine Dion, Jason Crabb), the latter of whom also orchestrated the track, the “Celebration of America Medley” weaves a musical tapestry of faith and freedom with the beloved classics “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “Shenandoah,” “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee,” “America The Beautiful” and “God Bless America.” A sacred undertaking for Lovelace, the composition is an expression of thanks to those who have selflessly served.

“As we look towards the celebration of 250 years as a magnificent nation next year, selecting and arranging the songs to include in this medley was an honor,” he shares. “My hope is that both active military and veterans will hear my heart of gratitude in the music and know how deeply we appreciate their sacrifices for our treasured freedom.”

The “Celebration of America Medley” also spotlights the signature harmonica stylings of Charlie McCoy, a Country Music Hall of Fame and Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum inductee. Renowned as one of Nashville’s top session players, the Grand Ole Opry member has contributed to recordings by Elvis, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Bob Dylan and Chet Atkins, among numerous legendary artists through the decades.

“I walked into the kitchen one day as my daughter, Gabrielle, was listening to a project by the incomparable Charlie McCoy,” Lovelace shares. “She is aware of how much his musicianship influenced my life as a young artist and asked, ‘Why not have Charlie play on your record?’ I immediately recalled hearing him perform ‘Shenandoah’ at a concert over 40 years ago, which is one of the songs I included in the medley, and I knew he would be perfect for the piece.”

In addition to performing professionally on piano, guitar and harmonica, Lovelace is a lauded comedian and speaker. His daily “Moments that Motivate” radio series - two-minute humorous and touching anecdotes from his life shared with a heaping dose of inspirational insight - is nationally syndicated and also featured on SiriusXM’s Bill Gaither’s enLighten channel.
