Kingdmusic Releases New Pop Single 'Welcome Home'

Jun 30 2025

Award-winning singer and songwriter Kingdmusic releases a moving new single titled 'Welcome Home,' a song that speaks straight to the heart of anyone who feels far from God, weighed down by shame, or unsure if they still belong.

Inspired by the story of the prodigal son, 'Welcome Home' is more than just a song - it's a heartfelt invitation to come back to Jesus. With honest lyrics and a powerful, melodic chorus, Kingdmusic reminds listeners that no matter where they’ve been or what they’ve done, God’s arms remain wide open.

The song opens with a raw reflection of someone who’s been on a difficult journey:
"You've been walking down this road for too long / Carrying the weight of where you might have gone wrong"

From there, the message becomes clear - God is not finished with you. He sees your pain, your tears, your scars - and still calls you His own.

"This is one of the most personal songs I've written," says Kingdmusic. "There are so many people who feel like they’ve gone too far or messed up too badly. But the truth is, Jesus isn’t waiting to judge them - He's waiting to welcome them. This song is for those people."

Whether you’ve drifted from your faith or never had a relationship with God to begin with, 'Welcome Home' offers a powerful reminder that grace still has your name on it. The song will be available on all streaming platforms on Friday 27 June.
