After the viral success of his original single Jesus, which has now inspired over 100,000 pieces of user-generated content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, award-winning South African artist Kingdmusic returns with a powerful new rendition of the song. This fresh version features acclaimed Brazilian gospel artist Luma Elpidio, known for her anointed voice and vibrant worship ministry across Latin America.
Driven by the overwhelming response to the song, Kingdmusic teamed up with Luma to record a multilingual version of "Jesus," blending Portuguese and English lyrics to unite global worshippers in a beautiful expression of faith. Their collaboration captures the heart of cross- cultural worship and reflects the global impact of the name of Jesus.
“I’ve known Luma Elpidio for a couple of years now - we’ve followed each other on Instagram and always admired each other’s ministry from a distance,” shares Kingdmusic. “But finally getting the chance to work with her has been truly amazing. She genuinely loves Jesus, her family, and the Church of Christ. From the moment we decided to collaborate on this new version of Jesus, she has been incredibly supportive. We’ve shared many phone calls - testifying to the goodness of God, discussing our hearts for worship, and carefully walking through the Portuguese translations together.”
