No.1 Debut For Forrest Frank's 'Child Of God II'
GRAMMY-nominated, award-winning artist FORREST FRANK'S CHILD OF GOD II has debuted atop the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and No. 12 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart. Simultaneously, viral track "YOUR WAY'S BETTER," has become a Billboard Hot 100 hit (currently No. 63), while holdling steady at No.1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, where notably, FRANK appears on a whopping 21 songs in its Top 50, including his collab with TobyMac.
Taking to socials to express his gratitude, FRANK commented, "I don’t take any credit or receive any glory from this, but wanted to update y'all and just say thanks for tuning in and letting me be a part of the soundtrack of your lives. THANK YOU JESUS."
FRANK just closed out his completely SOLD OUT "CHILD OF GOD II" Arena Tour last week where he performed to over 215,000 fans. The tour appeared multiple times on POLLSTAR'S LIVE75 chart which ranks worldwide active tours by average tickets sold for shows performed over the last 30 days.
The explosive growth of "YOUR WAY'S BETTER" was driven by a viral dance that's taken the internet by storm. Billboard recently spoke with FRANK about the ‘Invisible Market’ that turned the track into a phenomenon. During his Miami show last weekend FRANK took to the stage to do the dance with its original creators, David Myers and Bridgett Nicole resulting in an Instagram post that received over 7.1M views.
FRANK also continues to dominate social media with multiple trending audio and viral posts, with his latest TikTok video amassing over 7.6 MILLION views. "YOUR WAY'S BETTER" is currently #5 on YouTube Daily Top Shorts Songs and No. 38 on the TikTok Top 50 Music Chart. Last week as YouTube launched their equivalent of Spotify's Monthly Listeners, Forrest's page revealed a whopping 261M Monthlies, putting him in the company of top mainstream acts like The Weeknd (297M), Drake (142M) and Ed Sheeran (257M).
The most added at Christian radio two of the past three weeks, with 44 new stations joining the 58 currently playing the song "YOUR WAY'S BETTER" is currently No. 15 on Mediabase Christian AC, and has also pushed into the Top 20 on Billboard Christian Airplay and Christian AC. Meanwhile, "NOTHING ELSE" grew to No. 30 on Mediabase CHristian AC with 32 stations on. Including these two tracks, FRANK'S collective audience at the format is now 9.6M per week across multiple songs, including "GOOD DAY," "NEVER GET USED TO THIS," and "LIFT MY HANDS."
