Jun 03 2010

Dove Award winning rock band The Afters have unveiled their new single 'Light Up The Sky', taken from their forthcoming third studio album of the same name. The band have made the song available to listen to on their website.

"We are back in the studio... finishing up our new album 'Light Up The Sky'", confirmed the band on their Twitter page. "We're super excited with how it's sounding... it's almost ready for mix. This record is new and exciting territory for us... definitely not rehashing our other music. We're thrilled with the songs!"

'Light Up The Sky', which is planned for release later in 2010, will be the follow up to The Afters previous album 'Never Going Back to OK' which was released in 2008. The title track of that album was the most played song on R&R magazine's Christian CHR chart for 2008.
