Jordan Feliz Releases 'The King Is Alive', First Radio Single From Upcoming Album

Apr 29 2023

RIAA Gold-selling, Dove Award-winning pop recording artist and songwriter Jordan Feliz releases 'The King Is Alive' worldwide (April 28) from Centricity Music. The song also goes for adds at radio May 26 and is the first single from Feliz’s fourth full-length album (title and release date TBA.)

Written by Feliz along with longtime collaborator Colby Wedgeworth and award-winning songwriter Paul Duncan, who co-wrote Feliz’s third (“Glorify”) and fourth (“Jesus Is Coming Back”) No. 1 hits found on his current album Say It, “The King Is Alive” emphasizes that the resurrection of Jesus is not just an Easter celebration.

“‘The King Is Alive’ is a reminder for my children’s generation, and every generation, that the resurrection of Jesus is not just a story from the past, but a present-day reality that inspires us to live with purpose and hope,” says Feliz. “It is the source of our strength and the reason for our joy!”

The praises don’t stop, the devil’s been dropped
Got some good news coming straight from the top
He saved me from the fire, lifted me higher
Feeling so good, gotta sing it with the choir
‘Cause He’s alive, alive
The King is alive, alive

(“The King Is Alive” chorus)

Singing his new music, hit singles and a bevy of fan favorites on tour, Feliz is also highlighting his heartwarming children’s hardcover book, Beloved, at his concerts. Based on his song “Beloved,” the title track to his debut album released in 2015, the book already has over 10,000 copies in print and is available both at Feliz’s concerts and online. This precious, 24-page read-aloud storybook for two- to six-year-olds teaches young children about finding their value not in the things of this world, but rather in the love of Jesus.
