INC3NSE Releases 'Your Kingdom Come'
Dave Bastow is the artist behind the music of INC3NSE. He has just released new single 'Your Kingdom Come'.
"This track is an energetic upbeat song based upon the Lord's Prayer which can be found in the New Testament (Matthew 6:9-13)", he explains.
"The Lord's Prayer is a prayer that Jesus taught his disciples to pray when talking to God and is a good starting point for us today too. I decided to try and capture the spirit of the prayer in a song that would be both memorable and easy to understand and make it available to people who would not necessarily come into contact with God's word "...so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11 (NIVUK)."
Dave enjoys creating and producing music about the Christian faith and journey. His music is studio-based and combines both electronic and instrumental recordings and his aim is to provide a musical offering (INC3NSE) that is pleasing to both God and others, whether or not they share a faith in God.
The incense offering in Judaism was related to perfumed offerings on the altar of incense in the time of the Tabernacle and the First and Second Temple period, and was an important component of priestly liturgy in the Temple in Jerusalem.
