Husband and Wife Duo, Alabaster Grace, Releases New Single, 'Being in Your Presence'
Following the success of their most recent single, “Heal Our Land,” husband and wife duo Alabaster Grace have released a new track this week called “Being In Your Presence."
Brad Perry, a highly decorated former NASA rocket scientist, and his wife, Joanie Perry, a dedicated educator-together known professionally as Alabaster Grace-have pulled together a collection of industry heavyweights to bring life to the new song.
Multiple Dove Award-winning producer Chris Bevins (producer and keyboards for Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, Christine D'Clario), played keyboards, and also brought in some additional top Nashville studio musicians for the recording. These include drummer Dan Needham (Amy Grant, Jeremy Camp, Michael McDonald, Sting), guitarist Mike Payne (Casting Crowns, Francesca Battistelli, Mandisa, Lauren Daigle, Natalie Grant), and bassist, Jacob Lowery (Gaither Vocal Band, Seth & Nirva).

"Being In Your Presence" was written by Joanie Perry, the duo's primary songwriter. Brad Perry, the group's guitarist, wrote and arranged the guitar parts, and together, Joanie and Brad crafted the song arrangement along with Bevins.
Born out of a time of quiet reflection, “Being In Your Presence” is a song of praise and worship to God derived largely from Psalm 16:11 (ESV), which says, “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
“'Being In Your Presence' is an intimate song to God that proclaims He is all we need," says Joanie. 'He is our heart's desire. He satisfies our hunger. He is Holy and Worthy."
“As followers of Jesus Christ, it is our hearts’ desire to be in His presence,” says Brad. “It is our prayer that this song will lead listeners deeper into the presence of the Lord.”
Already, the song is striking a deep chord with many listeners.
