Matthew Hawk Releases 'Running on Empty' From Upcoming New Album

Matthew Hawk, a singer-songwriter and actor from Atlanta, Georgia, has released his new single 'Running on Empty,' the the first song from his upcoming album. The single is available now on all streaming platforms and radio worldwide.



Matthew has appeared playing guitar and/or singing on films such as Pitch Perfect 3, The Change Up, What to Expect When You're Expecting, Boy Erased, Come Sunday, A Question of Faith, and the television shows, The Vampire Diaries, The Baker and the Beauty, and American Soul, with live performances on a variety of television programs such as AtlantaLive.

His latest album titled, Merry Christmas, released in November of 2021, with his single, The Greatest Gift, reaching #6 on the Top Christian 20 PlayMPE national charts.

He was nominated for three Native American Music Awards in 2022 (winning results happen in November 2022) and again in 2018.

Constantly growing in style, Hawk's working on a new album to be released in Fall of 2022.
